What We Believe and Why It Matters
Our faith is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ and the timeless truths of Scripture. We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, guiding us in all matters of faith and practice. Here we share our core beliefs that shape our community and mission.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, our final authority for faith and life. Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal, yet distinct in their roles in creation, redemption, and sanctification.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended to heaven where He intercedes for us.
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We cannot earn salvation through works, but are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) and transformed by the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all believers worldwide. The local church exists to worship God, teach His Word, fellowship together, and fulfill the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within all believers, empowering us for Christian living and service. He convicts of sin, guides into truth, produces spiritual fruit, and distributes spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church.
Every aspect of our faith and practice is rooted in the authoritative Word of God. We are committed to expository preaching and teaching that honors the original intent of Scripture and applies biblical truth to contemporary life.
Through regular worship services, Bible studies, and discipleship programs, we help believers grow in their understanding of God's Word and live out their faith with confidence and conviction.
Our Services & ProgramsThe Gospel is the good news that God loves us and has made a way for us to be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ. Though we have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23), God demonstrated His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
Jesus took upon Himself the punishment we deserved, dying on the cross and rising from the dead three days later. Through faith in Him, we receive forgiveness of sins, new life, and the promise of eternal life with God.
This is not something we can earn or achieve through our own efforts. It is a free gift of God's grace, received by faith. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
This is the message that transforms lives and gives hope to the world.
We gather weekly to worship God in spirit and truth, offering Him our praise, thanksgiving, and devotion through song, prayer, and the preaching of His Word.
We believe in the importance of Christian community, supporting and encouraging one another as we walk together in faith and grow in Christ-likeness.
We are called to share the Gospel and make disciples, both locally in Milton Keynes and around the world, demonstrating God's love through word and deed.
